A dentist that has a postgraduate training in the specialty of prosthodontics. These training programs are normally a 3 years full time course provided by accredited universities or institutions. In Singapore, they will need to work a few years after the postgraduate training before they can sit for an exit exam to be a qualified prosthodontist.

A prosthodontist is best at replacing multiple missing teeth for both function as well as esthetics.
